Only got experience with California beaches. I really wanna check out Florida and Hawaii beaches one day

If we are talking about JUST the beach, Fort Desoto on the south end of St Pete is probably the best.
There no stores around, no shops, just nice sand and decent water. Waves aren’t to bad, so you can actually swim and more or less clear until storm season comes.

I could see if you said Hawaii but US mainland Pacific beaches in general are not it.
And everyone knows Gulf side FL>Atlantic side FL
