Jake Brown writes a good series of books . . usually highlighting their studio work

I've read just about every Tupac book published cover to cover, the only one I hadn't read is one of those newer ones but I glanced through it and realized it was a reiteration of the stuff I had read prior so I would be getting nothing more than second hand information so I put the book down in the store

This book was quite interesting . . I remember being particularly enthralled by it

I've just ordered his book about Dr. Dre . . this will be the second book about Dr. Dre I've read, the first one was one by his assistant called Rollin Wit Dre . . it's a very decent book with a lot of insights

Jerry Heller wrote a book called Ruthless: A Memoir - highly recommended. It's a really great book. Really well written and it will grab your attention. Lowkey a lot of Straight Outta Compton (The movie) was based on this book

I hope we get an autobiography from Suge Knight on the Death Row years, I don't expect any accuracies but the quotes will be :banderas:

Then there's this one - just got it in the mail . . should be some great stuff in here

He's also written one about Jay Z and Prince, I'd get the Prince one but I'm currently reading a Prince biography and I have two to get to already

I really would like a book about Mac Dre but there's a few reasons I don't think that would ever happen - one is that there really isn't that much information available to the public but it could be a really great story if someone were to do the interviews

I also want to say that Michael Eric Dyson's book is probably the worst book ever written on hip-hop . . and for some reason it came out at a time where if you were looking for a Tupac book this was the one that was forced down your throat but it's barely a book about Tupac and is nothing more than a compilation of this man's redundant philosophies

The book "Have Gun, Will Travel" about Death Row was a fun read.

That guy is so corny when it comes to Pac and tries way too hard to make everything about him have some deep meaning.

โ€œEvery time Mike Tyson throws a punch in the ring, Tupac is mentally throwing a punch at all of the furious contradictions that represent the knot that is his life.โ€ :comeon:
