Best car for 12k cash and under brehs?

Maxima. I am biased because I have a 6spd 2002 Max. You can get an 02-08 Max for well under 12k. That or maybe a mid 2000's G35. 98-03 Gs300 is good too. 02-03 Maxima comes with the vq35 engine (3.5) 255 hp stock, and is the best performing Maxima ever, and looks the best in my opinion. If you are into tuning and hooking cars up, they are easy to make low 13 second cars and I know a handful that are going 12's all motor.

The VQ from that era is indeed one great engine. Torque-steer on that ride is a bytch tho.
