lattimore was fukking amazing, it's unfortunate spurrier ran him into the ground
what he had was 2 extremely bad luck injuries. the first one hes blocking downfield and someone falls into his knee from the side. the 2nd one he gets high lowed after a pulling guard bypassed the 1st defender who grabbed him around the shoulder pad and then the 2nd defender who took out his legs.

he had some huge carry games, but this idea that spurrier ran him into the ground is without basis. leading up to the first major injury his sophomore year, in the games preceding and when he got injured, carry totals of 20, 17, 22, and 17. junior year 27 carries in the 2.5 games leading up to his injury.
