is there anyway to run the sound through the cpu speakers instead of the TV speakers if i connect my cpu with an hdmi to the tv?

yeah, just make your speakers the default device in the control panel. its a simple change. you'll see that your tv is probably your default audio device, just change that to the klipsh speakers and you should be good to go

Plug the speaker jack into the TV, It should say audio in on your TV

Nah, your control panel in windows. Go to control panel > hardware and sound > sound and then you'll see a list of audio devices. Make the klispch speakers the default ones.
