How the hell did I forget Starfox 64?! That rumble pack!?

I remember this movie came out around the time Independence Day with Will Smith came out, and you can tell certain scenes in the movie were duplicated in the game.

I bought Ace Combat for PS just off the strength of Starfox 64 tryna restore the feeling...but it wasn't the same. Ace Combat was toooo serious lol.

I currently own a PS3, but only for Mortal Kombat that dropped a few years ago. Based on what I'm seeing for MK X and then that Daylight game I'll be buying a PS4 and my rankings may change.

I laugh cuz I bought that game with the same expectations you had.

But yeah, I remember a mission where you had to destroy a mothership and all the little fighter jets it deployed just like a scene from the movie.
