I got a 740 credit score and I feel like I’m not fully utilizing what I have, which is just the basic starter card I started off with almost 2 years ago.

It looks like I can get approved for all the good shyt.

I have two:

Wells Fargo Active Cash 2% back from every purchase and $200 cash back when you spend 1K within the first three months. Also, no annual fee.

Discover IT Miles for earning travel points 1.5x miles per dollar purchase. Also, no annual fee.

Wells Fargo Active Cash is annoying since they limit your ability to pay off your bill if you have a non-Wells Fargo account.

I liked the bonus though!

I'm all for churning.

If you have a 740 credit score already, it would be hard to shoot up your score with a new card

It would be better to increase your credit line on your existing credit cards or apply for a loan over $4,000 and make payments on it

Citi custom cash.. 5 percent back whatever category you spend the most on.. I only use it for restaurants, food and bars. Get 5 percent back on everything. Have to pay in full every month though..
5% on a custom category sounds legit. I wrote off Citi a few years ago but may need to look back into them.

I started w/ Citi when I was building my credit but after a year or two, they started charging a monthly/annual fee for a secured credit card. To the unfamiliar, a secured credit card is where you put up the money that the bank is lending you. I think my spend limit at the time was like $250 so I had to let them hold $250 in order to receive the credit card lol. It's basically a glorified debit card you can build credit with, but since I'm eliminating risk w/ my deposit, them charging me fees was outrageous and some slick shyt taking advantage of customers who are likely financially illiterate.

Has anyone used the American Express Blue Business Cash? Looks like a decent one to churn.
