too soon, many important buzzworthy films to release in the coming weeks. january will be a better window. this is the most fun time of the year to be a movie buff

THIS.

My list is always running....and I just saw two more movies today (Oldboy and Philomena)....but with American Hustle, Wolf of Wall Street, Saving Mr. Banks, Anchorman, Inside Llewyn Davis, Nebraska and Her still on my list I definitely can't make a year-end anything yet

:yeshrug:

Here's my preliminary Top 10 though....always prone to changes tho
Gravity
12 Years A Slave
Short Term 12
Before Midnight
Side Effects
Monsters University
Blue Jasmine
Spring Breakers
The Place Beyond The Pines
Frances Ha

Will say already that this has been an INCREDIBLE year for film. One of the best I can remember...

...and we still haven't seen new films from Russell, Scorsese and Jonze :lawd:

My list of must-sees before I can make this list:

American Hustle
Wolf Of Wall Street
Inside Llewyn Davis
Her
Saving Mr. Banks
Hobbit
Anchorman 2
Nebraska

Should have all of these seen by the end of the year, though I'm not sure when I'll get Llewyn or Her around my area....

There are a bunch of indies I'd like to catch up with too but probably won't :yeshrug:

:dwillhuh: spring breakers is making multiple lists??

It is the ULTIMATE love/hate movie.

I walked out of the theater like :merchant::wtf:.....but I kept thinking about that shyt and eventually I grew to kind of love it :yeshrug:

The "Everytime"/robbery scene might be my favorite scene of the year :heh:
