It didn't receive "bad" reviews, but Alien Isolation has a sub-80 metacritic and it was my GOTY from that year and maybe the greatest modern survival horror game. I think a lot of people here would agree, everyone that gives it a try is like

Literally took the game I was gonna use as a example and if u look the alien isolation review on IGN and it's subsequent review video discussion ,the reasons why he gave the game a weak review were because the game was too hard because he was playing it on hard while he could have changed it to fukkkng easy difficulty in the fukking menu fukk that reviewer

Even though its mainly has okay reviews now, Metal Gear Revengeance had a bunch of mediocre and bad reviews when it was first released. But man, I love that game. The ost was so damn hype (jetstream sam boss theme , Senator Armstrong final boss theme ) and killing enemies felt so satisfying. Also, Senator Armstrong is one of the best final bosses I have ever seen when it came to his hilarious dialogue to his reasons why he did what he did, such an amazing character

I slept on that game for years cause people were shytting on it. Tried it years after release and was wondering what all the hate was about cause it was lit as fukk. Was when that OST is playing as I cut a Metal Gear Ray in half. A fukking Metal Gear Ray is one of the very first enemies in the game
