Arctis 7x is what I have, 145 dollars, really good
I only see the 7’s
SteelSeries Arctis 7 - Lossless Wireless Gaming Headset with DTS Headphone: X v2.0 Surround - for PC and PlayStation 4 - Black

Or these is what I’m thinking about getting

HyperX Cloud Flight S - Wireless Gaming Headset, 7.1 Surround Sound, 30 Hour Battery Life, Qi Wireless Charging, Detachable Microphone with LED Mute Indicator, Compatible with PC & PS4

The regular 7’s won’t work wirelessly with next gen consoles, you need a 3.5mm cable.

The 7X (not the 7P which only works for PS5 and PC) works for all next gen consoles and pc wirelessly

They are hard to find but i got mine on walmart.com

Very comfortable, i love them

Everywhere
I started using wired headphones with an Astro Mixamp on my PS5 and Series X . Helps that my couch is closer to the tv and it sounds way better than any wireless joint.

The ones from Five Below for $5 that can be bought 10 times and you won't break a sweat about it...

Random, but if you ever thought about buying Airpods then save yourself $150 and get the Five Below ones too...they have all the same functions and sound the same

The Scriptures
DT 990

https://amzn.to/3xnSzH4

This is an open back headphone with a nice smiley face eq (boosted bass and boosted highs), Open back headphones have better sound stage and width and usually more detail, however they leak out sound so it might be an issue depending on your living situation

if you get these get the 80 ohm version, the 250 ohm need more power to drive and the ps5 controller might not put out enough impedance

Audio Technica M50

Closed back headphone, great sound, no leakage, not as detailed as the DT 990 but more then adequate

Both of these options sound great with music too, you can think of it as a double investment

I own both and many others, thats my recommend

Breh, at least try it them before you knock them. You have to think about the markup that companies put on the products. Just because a product is $5 doesn't necessarily mean the quality is bad. Yes, the plastic may be cheap but that doesn't mean the cones, tweeters, mini-woofers, etc are low quality.

Do you remember Xiaomi Piston headphones years ago that were like $15 and competing with $100+ brands?

I just 3d printed ear bud tips for my headphones because the ones that came with it didn't fit my ears...I used literally $0.02 in TPU (flexible) filament but they sound identical to the tips that were already on there because it's just plastic. A manufacturer would have charged you $0.50 to $1 just for the tips. If I wanted to I can replicate the housing of some Airpods for about $0.05 and get great internal parts from China for all of $5-10 if I want to build ear buds as good as Airpods.
