Ive said it for the longest, if you got the wrong headphones shyt doesnt sound right. But I found the plug a couple months back. They called the Sennheiser IE 80s. Used to be 400$ but they out of production so you can get em for 200$. They got the clarity of mixing headphones except the mids and mid/lows (snares and kicks) are amped up. These shyts are so good if they stop working I just get another pair:wow:

What headphones yall rocking with?

V-Moda M-100 or V-Moda Crossfade LP 2. These are bar none the best headphones for hip-hop music.

I use Beyerdynamic DT 770 32 ohms and they are dope for all kinds of music imo.
Too muddy for me.

The beyerdynamic 990s>>>770.

I also got the beyerdynamic 880 (for mixing, kinda boring but you can hear a lot of detail), Audio Tech m50s are ok, sennheiser hd280s are ok and under the m50s, and then there’s the sennheiser 600s which is great but I prefer the beyerdynamic sound.

If I’m listening for fun the beyerdynamic 990s are the best in the price range IMO.

Everyone is different. The 770s work great for me and my needs. I think they are great especially paired with a DAC/Amp.

I haven’t tried the 990s but I saw that they are semi open headphones which seem interesting. I have the Sennheiser 598s too, which sound great for open headphones.
