Just seen insidious. It was ok at best
There hasn't been much at all, honestly, 'Insidious' would have to be my pick too. I saw that by myself in an almost empty theater, late at night, at the end, I was all scared, and kinda ran out of the theater, through that dark area between the entrance and the lobby. I liked 'Don't be Afraid of the Dark' too, but it wasn't really scary. Saw some garbage Filipino horror movie a few weeks ago, 'The Road', anyone saying that was good or scary has seriously questionable judgment.
'Kill List' was probably the best, even though it's not straight horror, that movie was insane. Probably should have a whole thread for it.

Does Tucker and Dale vs. Evil count? It's more comedy but I dug that movie.

I wouldn't really count "Tucker & Dale" as horror either. That's the problem though, nowadays it's damn near impossible to make a good horror movie without adding elements from other genres, because horror is so stale.
