Like when somebody just blacked the fukk out on an album and murdered everything in site. I have three main contenders for this prize:

- Redman on Dare iz a Darkside
- Pharoahe Monch on Stress: The Extinction Agenda
- Prodigy on Hell on Earth

I'd give it to Redman tbh. He was just so charismatic and out there, incredible.

Wanna see what suggestions you guys got.

Rakim on The Blueprint 2.

that was only one verse bruh

I mean like a whole album or damn near the entire album at least

like you could say Raekwon on Ironman for example because he played a substantial role, or maybe a more obvious choice like Nas and Illmatic

that's what I mean

Prodigy on Hell on Earth was just some next NEXT shyt. Never heard a rapper in the zone like that.

Some others:

Andre 3000 on Aquemini
Nas on Illmatic and It Was Written
Inspectah Deck on Wu-Tang Forever
Pusha T on Hell Hath No Fury

Came in here to say this. I don't even remember a single Prince Po verse from that album :pachaha:

word, and the thing is Prince Po was rattling off near perfect verses on that album too. He was fukking top tier, but Pharoahe Monch was an unstoppable monster.

It's like Kobe playing on the same team as MJ lol

For the record, PM's Stray Bullet verse is my all-time favourite.

Ice Cube Death Certificate

Biggie on both his albums - contrasting styles. RTD was just so raw from the gut. LAD is a master at work.

First thoughts actually Dre on Aquemini, Pac on Makaveli & P on Hell On Earth.

I don't understand this thread. How is the artist not gonna perform well on their own album if they're on every track?:dahell:

Of course they're gonna perform well.

I'm talking like a once in a lifetime performance, maybe even associated with that artists' peak.

Like Ghost was dope on Ironman of course but did he really blow everyone's minds with his performance? Probably not. Supreme Clientele is another story though.

Sorry for misinterpreting.

Anyways, I'm gonna say Jay on Reasonable Doubt and Eminem on The Eminem Show.
