Lmao it’s the same in every Jamaican restaurantThats pretty much every Jamacian spot tho. The lines are always a headache. I think its part of the 'buying food at the Jamacian spot' tradition.

I ended up going to Ali's Trinidad Roti Shop in Bed Stuy and Hot Put Under De Tree in Harlem
Ali's was 5/5that sorrel was glorious
and that was the best roti I've ever had in life hands down. The doubles were great too
Hot Pot was cool, not the best Jamaican food I've had but it was good. I walked by a bunch of the ones mentioned in this thread (Sugarcane, The Edge, etc) but I wish I woulda hit more of the spots in BK. Next time I'm gon hit Church Ave
On a side note I never realized how far out Jamaica Queens is from the citynikkas really be commuting from there to the city every day?!

Ali's isn't in Bed Stuy.
And if you liked that, I can't imagine how much more you'd like Bake n Things.
Where is it then?

Fulton & Nostrand ain't Bed Stuy?Where is it then?
I just googled that Bake N Things spotlooks legit

I used to live in Rochdale village and then Cambria Heights before moving back to Brooklyn.
I'm over there all the time though because the mother in law still lives in Rochdale.
You ever call over and they say your number in patois and damn near forget the number?!![]()
