I'll forever dread the day they got rid of it.
Especially now that their second world title is just the WWE Championship with a red or blue strap depending on the brand it's featured on.

At some point a future Universal Champion should just cut a promo about how ugly that belt is and bring back the Big Gold, just like Cody did with the original IC belt with the white strap. Whoever is doing this will get a huge pop too, that would be a really good idea for any face champ they want the fans to get behind.


It's a shame Lesnar, Reigns, AJ Styles, Rollins... were not able to hold that belt.

Big Gold, easy. The Classic IC belt (which I do like) is easily the most overrated belt among today's fans. As I said during the last round, I always thought the 90s US Heavyweight Title was a better looking belt than the Classic IC title, so there's no way it can beat Big Gold in my eyes.
