Funny you mention it. I was looking at the one tmobile offers. I don't remember the exact pricing. I think the unit was like $75 or something and if you already have service with them the monthly plan was something like $25 a month and you would get 2 or 3 gigs and binge on as well. So YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc. Don't cost against your data.

If you have an Android phone you should look into rooting it. You'll be able to enable tethering for free that way

Tethering is also available on nexus devices. My Nexus 5x have the option to tether without root.
