I'll be the first one to admit, sometimes wit his voice & flow, the nikka can completely RUIN a track & have a first time listener thinkin he pure gabbige. But When this nikka on his bullshyt, he EASILY top 10 of the post 2000 era, lyric/delivery wise. If he had the right production/promotion, son might be to 50 Cent what Meek Mill is to Rick Ross right now in terms of popularity/visibility.

I don't listen to much Banks these days, but back in the day he was my favorite rapper. I likened him to the Richard Pryor of rap, because I would laugh my *** off to his punchlines, he was pure comedy. In a brilliant good way.

Was amped cause I thought this thread was about this classic mixtape. Banks was one of my favorites new rappers out at that time. I was hyped about his music back in 03 more than 50. Dope punchlines, charisma, sick flows, multies, and some storytelling skills.

But it seems once Game took shots at his voice he switched his style. This current Banks is just another solid rapper.

I'm a Banks fan. He's witty and funny most of the time.

My biggest beef with Banks was his finishes on verses. A lot of times he would just kinda trail off and there was no impact. Really weak like. You gotta end with a bang.
