I say Harden is the best one-on-one isolation player in the league, despite the hate he catches on this site. Kyrie Irving and Carmelo are close runners up.
Although this is a more complex question than we think it is....A bigger stronger player could back down a player into an advantageous position close to the rim and score effectively there.....a player with a tremendous handle could have a slower player in a muddle by constantly blowing past them....a great outside shooter could contantly just pull up non stop....
One on one prowess is also a lot of times determined by the matchup.......
