been realizing the lack a energy in Rae's shyt these days, & it's not like he dont still make great tracks at times, but it's all delivered from that kinda calculated flow. but, I just heard this ONE newer song out the blue:
disregard the random other dude on the track with him, & concentrate on Rae's delivery here. This might as well been CubanLynx/Ironman era!
Fiery, blustery, voice raised & irked, cramming the bars back to back on top eachother, unexpected switch-ups -- delivery straight from 'Ironmaiden' ("Sit Back Polyin...")
this's the Chef I grew up on -- it's not just the "mobbed out drug talk" that people missed from Rae. he could talk bout whatever the fukk he wants -- I'd almost prefer barely comprehending him -- but he needs that fresh flow back. This the only track I can think of at all.
