been realizing the lack a energy in Rae's shyt these days, & it's not like he dont still make great tracks at times, but it's all delivered from that kinda calculated flow. but, I just heard this ONE newer song out the blue:

disregard the random other dude on the track with him, & concentrate on Rae's delivery here. This might as well been CubanLynx/Ironman era!

:ooh: Fiery, blustery, voice raised & irked, cramming the bars back to back on top eachother, unexpected switch-ups -- delivery straight from 'Ironmaiden' ("Sit Back Polyin...")

this's the Chef I grew up on -- it's not just the "mobbed out drug talk" that people missed from Rae. he could talk bout whatever the fukk he wants -- I'd almost prefer barely comprehending him -- but he needs that fresh flow back. This the only track I can think of at all.

I avoided this project cus I thought it was a bootleg DJ Fresh album. Was I wrong?

it's not "bootleg" at all, all new tracks recorded by DJ Fresh, but personally it's the only track I cared about -- everything else was kinda meh to me, but, I've felt that way bout pretty much every Rae project besides the 2 Cuban Lynx's. you might feel different.

The W had some of the most ridiculous Ghost/Rae and Deck flows ever. each different than the others on the album and a little diff than anything they had done before

it had mixed reviews, but from a performance standpoint they were strong on that album. not one wack verse (not counting Conditioner which was thrown together in a night while Dirty was on the run)

i refuse to conform
I'm in the crib watchin Larry King Live, the new Guccis on
Refridgerator, smokin some kush, this nikka's a lighter
Swisher, becomin a roach, go get the glass ashtray
Pour the glass of Crut, tap the bottle then toast
Barrie took a sip for the cause, yeah my son
Soon to be 3, tried to fill his bottle then run
Then I got a collect call, heard nikkaz down the block is fightin
Some nikka got, knifed up brawlin
Heard the kid was 19, Lil' Infinity too
His father worked up at the dealer he loved boo
They tried him for his Louis', son wasn't havin it though
Yeah, yeah my nikka, the color of glue
Decided on a intervene, guess who tried to wild on me my nikka
This is like out of the blue
I'm in the Range stretch, jumped out, tucked the chain
Proceded to talk to him, then you heard the heavy face slap
Think I broke my wrist, now I'm at the hospital vexed
fukked up my writing hand, that's my check
Now I wanna kill this lil' nikka true
Only thing that stop my gun flamin cause he related to you

raekwon killed this song ragu
