Say what you will, but I'm going with 5A. This was Walt when he was finally certified before everything fell apart. Dude was dripping with swag having eliminated Gus who himself eliminated the Cartel. The way he made Declan respect tha gawd with "say my name" and how he was so confident in his dealings. Even when Mike held a gun to his head, Walt knew the motherfukker wouldn't shoot since Walt was in control. The money he made during the first part of season 5 also pushed showed he was serious about creating an empire.

i'm sorry but to me the show took a sharp decline in quality after season 4 ended. nobody really filled Gus' shoes as the proper antagonist of the show. season 5 had some type of antagonist by committee thing going where there was no definite antagonist of the season. the final boss of the whole series felt like a throw away character. they could have never brought him back and it wouldn't have mattered.

i might end up switching to season 5 but season 4 had me thinking this was the Goat Show.... so ima go with 4
