I have a Galaxy S5 (wish I still had my S4 but it was broken). Since upgrading to Lollipop I've had incredibly shytty battery life. I've seen many people on various forums comment that a factory reset helped the battery life situation. I'm ready to do that but ideally I'd like to be able to backup/restore my phone completely as it is now in terms of my apps, contacts, accounts connected, settings, etc.... just everything. Is there a way to easily do this or should I just start from scratch and spend the couple hours getting things back the way I want them after the factory reset?

Root the phone then install Titanium Backup, it backs up all your apps data. copy those app files to your computer or whatever so you don't accidentally lose it when factory resetting. Your contacts should automatically be backed up to your google account (I do this anyways) so losing contacts shouldn't be a worry.

Or if you don't wanna root your phone for some dumb ass reason... There was an App i used to backup everything but I forgot what it was called. I actually tried searching for it yesterday but I couldn't find it in the play store

Nandroid is something you do through recovery. Usually u do a nandroid backup, it backs up the entire phone. Not just the apps. They do this so if you flash a rom or a update, and it doesn't work or it had bugs ; u flash the backup and go back to what u had before.

Personally i would start again with installing apps as it couldeven be a specific app data causing your battery drain. Clean slate best way to improve your device performance.
