Best Ways To Learn Animation Design?

Been wanting to learn animation forever. Any tips, sites, or programs that you'd recommend?

leave the country semi serious. the best 2d school is sheridan in canada, 2nd is goeblins in france.

but since we probably talking bout america.. Calarts is the best... other good schools, Ringling(florida), RISD(rhode island), SVA(NY).. and damn near any art school in SoCal.

I'd go to cali if possible, your teachers will probably work in the industry, internships are down the street, and if get cool wit ya teachers, they'll prolly put you on.
2d is tough tho, cuz nikkas are all about 3d now, disney just gutted their 2d dept.. BUT there is still work with smaller studios that do tv cartoons and shyt.

All that is pretty much spot on. I want to do both 2d and 3d animation btw.

doing 3d, same schools kinda. i'd supplement with a few gnomon workshop.

workshops and conventions are big, making connections.

also @Batz and @SilkkTheStalker.. if u arent already.. u need to start drawing A LOT, atleast 4hrs a day, but best would be 8hrs a day, its ya job. an u should be looking at art, animation, concept shyt all day, watching mad cartoons
