I just copped a Wii U :blessed: thanks to that target coupon thread. I decided to look up some old Wii games that I haven't played yet. The first joint I decided to cop was Xenoblade Chronicles :wow: Game is dope as hell. Anyway, what are the best Wii games that don't have a franchised nintendo character as the main character (zelda, mario, donkey kong, metroid, kirby, etc)?

No More Heroes - one of the craziest and most entertaining games I've ever played.

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle - kicks things up a notch from its predecessor. There are a lot more bosses, the story is deeper, and the game overall is more of a character study compared to the first.

MadWorld - amazing hip-hop soundtrack, great bosses, and plenty of violence. Only flaw is its length, and the checkpoints are kinda non-existent.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition - the definitive version of the game to this day IMO

Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil - scariest game in the series by far.

Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero - ties into remake

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles - fun lightgun game, great in co-op

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles - same as above

Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 - tons of characters, and the story mode is the deepest of any DBZ game out there, even when including latest games. It covers pretty much the entire saga, from DBZ to GT, and includes every fight you can think of, as well as several What If fights and side stories.

I also have a sealed copy of Red Steel 2, which I've heard good things about. It's a western style game where you get to duel wield guns and swing a sword around. It's supposed to take full
advantage of Wii motion plus.

A lot of people praise Pandora's Tower. I heard it has a game breaking glitch towards the end tho.
That's all I can contribute, I didn't buy very many non-Nintendo Wii games last gen, not enough interested me. :manny:

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes - A beat em up based on feudal Japanese history. Think Dynasty Warriors but on crack.

The Last Story - Action RPG. Characters are a little cliche / anime-ish, but the battle system is :whew:
