Best I've been to was Kanye in 2004 right after College Dropout. Really small venue in New Haven so we were right in front of the stage. John Legend was his keyboardist, basically playing a casio on top of his knees. Kanye talked to the audience a lot and was funny and self-deprecating, during Last Call he said his Jean Paul Gaultier line was stupid because it wasn't that expensive/luxurious. Did the good version of "Home" (i.e. not the chris martin shytty one), which I had only heard on that player on his website. Went with my high school girlfriend, super romantic, wore our College Dropout tshirts in school the next day.

Worst was 50 in 2006 in Hartford. Lil Scrappy opened for him and kept doing this idiotic thing where he would take a bottle of water, put it by his crotch and then spray it around. :what:
When 50 came on for some reason he came down from the ceiling in a harness. But it went way too fast and he slammed into the stage on his knees. Which was sort of funny but he was pissed and kept talking about it. I guess all of G Unit was there and before Banks did Smile 50 started "flirting" with twin morbidly obese women in the front row and had them broadcast on the screen onstage. He was saying stuff like "I just wanna see you two smile...how'd you like to come onstage for this?" And they were looking at each other nervously but were sort of getting into it and then 50 said "All right, well you pick her up then. Pick each other up" and started the song. Mortifying. Concert was of course impossible to hear. There with my high school girlfriend againand she had brought her little brother. I was sitting in between them and she kept standing up and dancing "sexily" while we just sat there. She had been at college for a week and secretly found a new boyfriend already.

Sounds like you Won. :win::obama:
It also sounds like the same Show that I went to, I've only seen Kanye in Concert 1nce and all I wish is that I could have seen him Live when Late Registration was out because that was my Favorite Album from him.

Best was Dom Kennedy surprisingly. Dude came over to London and I swear to God I haven't enjoyed a show as much as that, preferred it over WTT too. Duke performed everything and performed them well. Was only about 500 people in the venue but everyone knew every word and the atmosphere was insane. Dude let Kendricks verse ride out on We Ball and Ross' on Gold Alpinas too :wow: Crack. Then he performed "The Ways" :ohlawd:

Worse was easily Big Sean. Dude didn't perform shyt. No “High Rise”. No “Bullsh*ttin”. No “Made”. No “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”. No “My Closet”, “Hometown Glory”, “Desire, Want and Need” or “Experimental”. The constant “When I say swerve, you say Boi” was fukking moist too. Just as he started to wrap up he tried to do a dramatic encore to Clique :beli:
