Tough matchup and I'm missing some content from both wrestlers. Gotta give the slight edge to Nak based on accolades but RVD sure had some memorable matches in his ECW days where I saw most of his work. Especially his work with Sabu. Nak does have better ring work tho but like them both.

Nak feels he doesn't need to work as hard as he used to because of that fat wwe check especially now since they hardly use him, he can surf all he wants and sit in catering

you deserve to get negged for disrespecting that man's TV title run like this :scust:
Pssh.
I guess I should contextualize: I'd been lightweight purogang before WK9. Nak/Ibushi had me running to youtube digging through the crates for days looking at past classics; Kobayashi, Misawa, Inoki. As good as RVD mighta been in ECW and all, dude has never had a match that made me look at wrestling any different than I did going in.

Plus. Nakamura got his eye sockets fukked in an MMA match and then cuh still worked his expected wrestling date right after. Rob cool, but Shin just different :banderas:

Put it this way: I could see wrestling having another RVD-type. I cannot fathom anyone being another Shinsuke Nakamura.

RVD’s sons are permeated all through wrestling.

Ain’t nobody trying to be Nak’s sons :manny:

Gotta go with Nakamura, Nakamura is one of the best of his generation. RVD was never that great in the ring (hated all his matches in Japan), the only match that I liked of his where he wasn't getting carried was with Jeff Hardy.

Both have unique looks, movesets, and the ability to have you engaged in whatever they're doing. :wow:

Leaning towards RVD for being an innovator and a stand-out of his time :ehh:
