yea prequel was the only way to go, honestly. maybe they sprinkle in some after walt shyt

If they give us 1-2 scenes after "BB" I'd be happy. Even Saul at Cinnabon on break watching the news of Walt's death like :snoop: would be great.

Everyone is down to appear:

http://www.ontheredcarpet.com/Aaron...r-Call-Saul--Breaking-Bad-alum-speaks/9402282

Aaron Paul had told Details magazine in an interview published in its February 2014 issue that both he and Cranston "want to be a part of" "Better Call Saul," adding: "If they'll have us."

Show creator Vince Gillegan told EW in December that "Breaking Bad" star Jonathan Banks, who played Mike, may appear in the spinoff and that 'Better Call Saul could be 'The Love Boat' of its generation, where instead of Milton Berle showing up in a sailor's cap, hopefully it could be Aaron Paul, also in a sailor's cap."

They need to work them in organically though. But after "X-Files" and "Breaking Bad" nobody has any reason to doubt Vince Gilligan, so I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Prequel ain't bad news though. They said Mike could be a major character and every other major character (Gus for example) could appear on the show. Obviously not every episode or anything, it's a new show after all not "Breaking Bad 2".

nah, it's not bad news. i love saul, he was awesome. it's possible he could carry a show. mike, gus and them would be a bonus.

but when it comes down to it, spin-offs are hit or miss. so who knows, really. especially one like this, it's gonna interesting. saul (while an important character) provided a lot of comic relief on a super-dramatic show. basing a show on a funny character that came from a serious series is definitely gonna be tough.

Well yeah, but if you would've told me the dad from "Malcolm In The Middle" would make one of the GOAT villains (anti-heroes, whatever) in TV history I would've hit you with the :heh::camby:

It has 5 writers from "Breaking Bad" on it. I trust these guys to do anything at this point. They could make an hour long series where Gilbert Gottfried reads the phone book and I'd still check it out just off the strength of their rep up to this point. This show could be a train wreck but their track record speaks for itself, so I'm more leaning to the side of "this is going to be dope".

i think its supposed to be a comedy over a drama though right

They said that initially but it was taken out of context. They clarified by saying if "BB" is 75% drama 25% comedy the mixture on this show would be closer to 50/50.
