better "day in the life" concept: GKMC or 4eva n a Day?

Most people praise GKMC for its narrative, but a lot don't bother to mention 4eva N A Day in the same breath as it.

I think that's disappointing, because both concepts are similar: a day in the life in the hood, where hope, dreams, and innocence are endangered in a backdrop littered with corruption and depravity. The main difference being that 4eva N a Day's storyline is harder to follow and doesn't have the close-knit selection of characters that GKMC has.
