I want to clarify when i says 2000s I’m talking about early 2000s, not the current era

I don’t think it’s that wide of a margin as you’re trying to imply
The 2000s is a decade (2000-2009).

Even if you're just talking about the early '00s (2000-2002/3), '90s R&B is still way better.

90s no doubt, but there are several periods within the 2000s that had plenty of gems. From R. Kelly, Jagged Edge, and Usher to the likes of Ne-Yo, Bobby Valentino, and The Dream.

I think you mean better decade.

that would be the '90s.

best era was either the early or mid-90s.

r.kelly was better in the '90s.

I'm a jagged edge fan but they prolly wouldn't be top-tier in the early/mid-90s.

nee-yo & bobby v were in '90s groups for a reason. they would've never blew up solo back then.

the dream would be that producer/writer member of the group that NEVER sang.

usher is usher in both decades, if youre into that type chit.
