Better Handheld: Nintendo Switch Vs Sony's Original PSP

You read that correctly, which one are you guys taking the classic PSP which was innovative for its time with the XMB interface, internet browser and mp3 player or the Nintendo Switch with amazing battery life, tv connectivity, joy cons and good graphics. Which one are you taking and why?

Used the psp waaaaayyyyyyy more. Switch been sitting up gathering dust for years.

The PSP was ahead of its time and deserved props but there were mechanical flaws and as a result some games ran better then others (FFT:WOL comes to mind).

I think the Vita is a fairer comparison even though I think Sony abandoned it too quickly.

Yeah the UMD wasn't the best media idea but they had high hopes for it. They even made a few movies with UMD releases in addition to to them being on DVD. I remember the UMD's would sometimes break apart and you had to glue or tape the plastic back around the disc.

It's funny cause I didn't play Acid but hear people speak on it. May have to check it out because I loved Peacewalker and was a beast in Meta Gear Portable Ops plus online. Had a lot of good soldiers I collected.

Music player, photo sharing, video sharing, online gaming, internet browser, wifi, gaming. All of this on one device in 2005. I remember when I got this and started to learn what wifi was, I went crazy on the web browser on this thing.

I'm saying, that was the only real benefit unless there were other things I missed out on.

I prefer psp. Shoot I prefer Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advanced over Nintendo switch, if we're talking pure handhelds.

A hacked switch can play psp… a psp cannot play switch.
