Both of these are amazing.

InstantPot you can make hearty meals like stews that can last you for multiple days in 1 cook. You can buy a giant bag of healthy vegetables and steam them in less than 5 mins, you can cool slow cooker meals in a fraction of the time. Tonight I made a ground turkey, pasta, sausage, spinach dish. :wow: If you are a parent you can cook dinner for ur kids in one swoop.

AirFryer: You can make all your favorite fried food with no grease. And once you learn the nuances how ur individual fryer cooks, you're unstoppable. You can make French toast, you can make egg bites better than Starbucks. You can bake/crisp vegetables. Rre-heat pizza so it is crisp. And so much more. Really anything to be honest. :wow:

I don't know what the answer is but if you don't have one or both of these, it's a fantastic investment whether you are single and want to cook/meal prep for a few days or just want a quick snack, or you have kids and don't want to feed the lil crumb snatchers fast-food all the time.

The air fryer is just a small convection oven.
And the convection oven has been around for 112 years.

To this point, the instant pot is nothing but a pressure cooker merged with a few other longstanding appliances (slow cooker, steamer). All of these been around 100+ years

I don’t see either as revolutionary

Air Fryer is glorified convection oven but it's a goddamn game changer in terms of making things like egg rolls, fries etc. crisp like they're fresh out the goddamn fryer.

My instapot is cool if i'm trying to greatly reduce the cooking time required to break down smoked hamhocks for collards etc... but I don't use it nearly as much in day to day life.

For me, air fryer.

Overall though, my cousins’ rice they cooked in the InstantPot so far is the best dish I’ve had from either appliance by far.

At the end by of the day the InstantPot is more versatile overall. Can’t make things like Jambalaya with it.

I go Vegan for good stretches of the time and while there are some things to buy that work well with the Air Fryer, Instant Pot is probably the far better choice overall.
