Better Luck Tomorrow..Who's seen it??

Watched this a handful of times back in hs when it came out (). Always thought it was one of the better teen movies at the time and for some reason, I still think about it and it's albeit pseudo-intellectual message about our inherent need to "break the cycle" that makes life monotonous.



I know others here have seen it. What say you?

pretty great flick and definitely a early 2000s hidden gem too....the chick in this flick was so damn cute too

Loved it when I first saw it back in 2004, I was ironically living the lower socioeconomic version of this movie, as I was selling coke, smoking blunts, sniffing lines, living way out of control for a high school kid, but I was barely attending school, though many friends were ASB types and got good grades. Think of how the director has come up, but also how he has never made anything worthwhile since, it's really the well known trajectory for esp. minority directors.

I can't even remember the setup as it's been a while since I seen it myself. But, the one says, "n!gga please." Guarantee you if that film dropped today and had any measure of popularity there'd be a 10 page thread in TLR going back and forth about it.
