Both were strong defenders so I'm not using that to decide one over the other. Where they're really seperated is in scoring ability as Pippen didn't share Wade's trancendent skill to completely take over a game offensively. When they needed him to become that in the 1994 postseason he struggled with consistency which was ultimately a key reason the Bulls fell in the 2nd round. With Wade, we've seen what he can do with an offense centered around him as the anchor as he's produced some of the most dominant stretches in NBA history. I'd say peak Wade is in a different tier entirely from Pip

Wade with no hesitation. Not sure there really was a defense for him especially in the postseason and he did go up against the prime Pistons, J Kidd Nets, and KG Celtics who were all very good defenses. The latter being one of the best ever. Still killed them
