Between Mase and Ja Rule, who straddled the bubble-gum pop image more?

Well, it's no contest that between Ja rule and Mase, Ja paid the higher price for making "pop" oriented music, and having a "pop" image. However, I think we would all agree that had more to do with a difference of culture within the time periods that both artist where hot in, rather than Ja objectively being a more pop orientated artist than Mase.

So if we ignore the differences of culture in both time periods(Shiny-Suit Era Vs Tall-Tee Era), and just look at the music and antics of both artists. Who straddled the bubble gum pop line more? Ja rule doing duets with Ashanti and singing in the rain, or Mase dancing like a backstreet boy and riding around in a reptar wagon?
