This journalist sounded real ...especially this line "With the absence of new music from Taylor Swift and Adele this year (whose presence stand to rival a few of Mrs. Carter's records), the stage was set for Beyoncé to have a year to dominate."

So I guess if Taylor and Adele released an album this year, Bey wouldn't have moved any units.

I still give Jay props for dropping Watch The Throne with no leaks (people forget how epic that shyt was in 2011)

Yeah I remember Jay talking about in the Sept/Oct 98 issue of the Source. The one where he's on the cover promoting Hard Knock Life (Outkast got the 5 mics in ). For awhile there people thought that the Black Album was gonna be just that and drop with no promo and be straight street.

Also Katy, Miley and Lady Gaga all dropped albums this year so that journalist's point is moot
