haven't I heard this song before? :francis:

this is why I'm feeling Solange more lately...I'm just over this anthem gospel shyt.

Beyonce was my thing when she was doing more of the actual R&B that got her where she is now.

I'm cool on this.

..Beyonce has always sang and had the delivery of a southern pentacostal gospel singer. Even when she made pure RnB music i.e- 4 a lot of those songs were sung like black COGIC worship melodies.. she sang this with the same amount of grit/twang/gospel runs that she would in 1+1 or i Care ..especially live. Thats jus how she always sing.. even her voice in destiny’s child had a gospel edge to it.

Whitney and Aretha also sung everything like they were doing a church alter call. I rather this than that monotone rap/singing shyt cause it shows where her true talent lies
