Is that a fair deal granted she wrote the song and how big it was

doesn't sound fair does it LOL but that's standard as far as publishing. writer and producer split pub 50/50. But she mentioned a publishing deal, so whoever she has that deal with gets 50% of her 50%. And she may not be getting all of her 50% to begin with.

These "deals" are just loans you have to pay back with fukked up rates and incentives that sink the artist and leave them with no ownership of their masters. yeah I've seen these same deals in the Boxing field...

I've interviewed a former champion from the 90s who ran thru the huge advances his.promotional team whom he was signed to gave him...

I mean these advances covered everything (he didn't have to spend a.some) but it was all RECOUPABLE.

At the end.of the year of the last quarter him and his manager would receive a statement and he showed me one....

It had every expense you can imagine..from his boxing gloves to baby diapers and wet whipes for his newborn.

Although he generated a lot.of income.for the team and the tv network he was featured on.

He had very little to show for it once he retired and now calls me like clockwork every spring damn their begging me to cop a.timeshare property from him to help his commission as a salesman In Florida
