I'm not a pro-black conscious pan-African revolutionary or anything pretentious like that but it is hard finding anyone black who isn't at least kind of religious in the south, I just either don't bring it up, change the subject or steer away from anyone super religious.

I did once get suspended from school for wearing a Pantera shirt that said "Hell" on it so yeah it's pretty real out there with the bible shyt
