Congrats CQ. Hes also the USAFs first Black Chief of Staff. Hes a PACAF/INDOPACOM guy so he has a lot of recent experience with strategic planning for China. Good fit for the job

Him and Bass (CMSAF) pushed the envelope on inclusion and diversity in the AF. Admittedly...they had an alley oop from Chief Wright and Gen Goldfein on equity in the Air Force...but they completed the assignment.
They relaxed a lot of dress and appearance standards to allow Brehs and Brehettes to wear their natural hair and made a lot of common sense reg changes.
The focus has shifted to near peer adversarial warfare, from OIF/OEF and they did a great job forging the new mission.
