That's more than likely what ended up happening as student loan executives have been saying that he was going to do the $10,000 and they have no reason to lie about it since it's costing them money in the long run. With that being said, if that decision doesn't come to fruition in the summertime, then it's a wrap for Democrats during midterms.

you do realize a lot of those loans are connected to SLABS(Student Loan Asset Backed Securities) and in turn a lot of collateral that once deemed worthless could seriously hurt the stock market.

i'm not saying he shouldn't do it but it's possible he's waiting for the market to go down and then do it so his actions wouldn't be blamed for it.
