At this rate, they slowing down population growth in the era of Climate Change. Climate Change, of predicted correctly, means a lot of land on Earth will be underwater, and a growing population with less land available means chaotic fukkery with bigger populations fighting for less resources.
They promoting homosexuality for reducing the population growth, in a non-authoritarian way. Gay people are still human beings, its just that their lifestyle is being promoted by the powers that be for more sinister purposes, to stop population growth in places of the world where people still have mad kids, like Sub-Sahara Africa.
Why not promote those policies in India and China, the countries with the biggest population on earth?

People use Gay people's rights in other parts of the developing world to stop population growth, before it gets out of control like China and India's population, is the only non-authoritarian measures the West knows how to use. It worked in Western Europe.
Climate Change means a lot of desirable land is going underwater. A lot of good farmland and clean water, too. The world has the highest human population it's ever been historically, and less resources would spell disaster for humanity. I bet you if they made a successful sterilization bomb that neutered anyone affected, they would use in a heartbeat to stop population growth.
