As previously reported, WWE is currently working on ways to bring John Laurinaitis back to television as a regular on-air character. Aside from possibly serving as a manager to Jack Swagger, another idea being discussed is for Laurinaitis to return to a position of authority, such as an "Executive Vice President"

Yeah... Johnny grew to be one of my favorite characters. I liked the fact that they made him smug and disingenuous, instead of just the regular heel authority figure who straight-up hates the face. He would act like he was innocently doing foul shyt... and had no clue it was foul.
