I posted a couple weeks ago about how Kentucky's governing body over wrestling, the KBWA, was basically preventing WWE shows from running in the state.
In an order today, the KBWA was replaced by the KBWC.
Part of the order reads, "The new commission will have a more focused vision on unleashing the regulatory and market conditions necessary to attract world-class professional athletic events to Kentucky.”
For those wanting to read the entire release from the state, you can see it here.
I think it's a huge deal, as WWE has not done a live show in Kentucky in almost a decade. I think the last one wasBacklash in 2006 a Raw in 2009 and they did two Smackdown tapings after that, but after the last one in 2011 decided to drop that as well.
Edit: Corrected last live show comment.
