Big Pun was better with rhyming but Kendrick has more versatility in terms of content and flows. Both are completely different vibes.
Overall Kendrick will surpass him if he hasn't already simply because Pun passed when his career took off.

Big Pun is a top 10 techncial rhymer while Kendrick isnt even in that conversation IMO.
Big Pun has a significantly better flow, where he was able to seemelessly spit so many syllables with incredible breath control.
Pun imo has better quotables (and maybe even punchlines, neither known for their punchlines so...) and those battle type bars.
There is no question that as an emcee (flow, breath control, technical rhyming, multis, compunds, lyrcism, and etc...) Pun is a significantly better lyricist and emcee.
However, I think some of the things that Pun doesnt have (or maybe soemthing he didnt excel at that much due to his short lived career) is what kendrick does have.
When it comes to storytelling, Pun may have had some great tracks like fast Money, punish me, and some others kendrick reigns supreme. Kendrick's storytelling skills on Sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst, How Much a Dollar cost, The art of peer pressure, and etc... are far above that of puns. His stories are simply easier to follow, better and more intriguing plots, utilizes superior vivid imagery, and are much more conceptual with greater messages. We dotn know what pun's storytelling skills couldve been like if he hadn't died, however Kendrick in general is a better storyteller.
Kendrick's music is also more conceptual, meaningful, and cosnious in general. Kendrick has songs where he spazzes out lyrically (not like pun), but he also has songs displaying his incredible skills as a pure song writer such as U, The Blacker the berry, Sing about me Im Dying of thirst. I dont think Pun could've created songs like U, where he Kendrick literally pours everything out in emotions and delivery detailing his inner conflicts. Songs like U really show how much on artist Kendrick is, which as an artist I think without a doubt Kendirck is probably better. The cohesivness of TPAB alone is enough to demonstarte Kendrick as a better artist than Pun, however when you take in to consideration Pun's incredible GOAT skills demonstareted in just one album, his ability to be a full package rapper in just one album, and the way he made such an imapct and legacy within such a short time shows how much potential Pun had and the type of emcee he was. Personally I hold Pun higher than Kendrick but their's no doubting

Discography: Can't say. Pun only had one album (I exclude his 2nd album due to the techncialities of the situation), however that one album is so fukking great and IMO is better than kendricks first 2 albums, while TPAB is probably better than CP (havent really put much thought into TPAB vs CP).
