Said on the Breakfast Clubs and other interviews that him and Def Jam went this route because he didn't want this album to leak early like Dark Sky Paradise did.

Alot of other artists will probably go the same route in the future

For a song that was damn near everywhere, it's strange that it peaked at 11. You'd think it'd at least be 7. But then again, I forget what else was on the charts at the time, so that plays a factor.
