Crazy thing is that had I stayed in the states after the transfer fell through, I could have been a Laker or Piston. Magic was a big fan of mine and was pressing Dr. Buss to sign me, but he didn't want to take the risk on someone that just slapped up their coach. The Pistons were also interested, but I actually got a better offer from the Euroleague and went there. Had I wound up staying, I would have no doubt been a first rounder in the 81 draft.
