At launch the PS5 couldn't output 1440p. It was either 4k or 1080p. Let alone VRR. An update came later that added VRR & 1440p but not for both.

I’m guessing uploading media to ps app won’t further compress them like twitter/youtube?

Also, the only PS4 game in my collection that made me jump through hoops to convert and use my savedata on the upgraded PS5 version was The Witcher 3. I guess there are more games out there that aren’t seamless in there handling ps4 -> ps5 save data? It wouldn’t hurt to make things make more similar to xbox smart delivery in that regard
