Posters have long pretended that there is an NY bias in The Booth which I always found ludicrous. And I'm sure I'm not the only one @FreshAIG. Especially when all the receipts point to the opposite being true. Polls typically show a favoritism towards West Coast and Southern artists.

Perfect example: this thread
Juvenile "Ha" vs Black Rock "Whoa"

@bigbadbossup2012 quoted me to say that the poll shows NY bias () because 'in the real world, Ha was waaaaaaay bigger than Whoa. So the gap should be wider.'

You cited this poll as a way to downplay coli N.Y. bias.
But it actually shows the opposite because in the real world ha was waaaaaay bigger than Woah, than this poll would reflect

Now, I don't mind @bigbadbossup2012. His foot-on-neck approach to Kendrick Lamar stans deserves a Coli award. I'm familiar with his "East Coast conspiracy" shtick and I normally don't bother. He doesn't stalk me/blow up my notifications so I typically ignore when he shytposts. Anyone who knows his posting knows that he's a Billboard whore. He uses stats to determine whether a song is better than another, and that's the end of it.

Here's the problem: the stats show that Whoa was a bigger song than "Ha" :laff:

So when this was brought to his attention, do you think he said, "my bad. You right." Nope. That's when the excuses, name-calling and overall santana began
My favorite excuse: "I don't think Ha was for sale." :deadrose:

Oh... so now we're going deeper into the situation as to why Ha didn't quite sell or the numbers don't show the whole story? Where was all that analysis when you were shytting on East Coast singles? :jbhmm:

Posters like him always pretend like East Coast singles are regional hits influencing nobody outside of the East Coast despite Whoa being big in the West and in the South. Or that a song can be iconic in hip hop despite not selling a lot on its own. Bossup still thinks Ha is more iconic than Whoa despite the stats. I wonder why :troll:

I'm sure bossup will feel honored that I made a thread about him but that's not really the point. The point is that a lot of y'all suffer from coastal insecurity. Which is OK for trolling if that's what it's gonna be :yeshrug: But if you wanna talk hip hop on a serious and intellectual level, we can see your insecurity all the way from Europe :salute:
