Pac wasnt universally popular until he died. And he definitely wasnt popular until he joined Death Row.

I think LL Cool J might have been the most consistently popular rapper of the 90's.

I dont get how people dont grasp this. Im not saying the best. Im not saying who was rapping for the whole decade. Im saying biggest overall in that ten year period. Billboard named eminem artist of the decade for selling more albums than any other artist of any genre in the 00s. This is undebatable. And pac dropped multiple albums that went platinum over and over and died in 96. Sales soared for the remaining years on top of already selling lots

the only difference is with the billboard artist of the decade it was Mariah in the 90s

but you said rapper so it applies to pac

and nobody else

only snoop's first album was that huge with sales .....

1. Pac didnt go multi-plat until he got to Death Row. A lot of rappers went platinum in the 90's. Matter fact, I'm almost positive that Hammer sold more records than Pac.

2. If this thread is about sales, what is there to discuss? Who we think is going to sell the most records this decade? Probably Eminem, since his last album sold 10M worldwide. If his new album does similar numbers, nobody is competing with that.
