30% of your paycheck and 300 million other people's paycheck every.single.year. should at least have health care covered, shouldn't be as many homeless people, better officers, roads maintained, etc.

They take a trillion dollars in taxes each year from my tax bracket alone. What the fukk they doing with that money?

It gets even worse, I read in an old chemistry book from around the time when de beers was just starting that campaign that even talked about diamonds being worthless. The book was written during prohibition and even talked about the possibility of creating synthetic diamonds because an experiment was done to create them in the late 1800's but they were only able to produce diamond dust due to the technology at the time. They said diamonds were only good for cutting tools and aluminum and steel were worth more because of the value to daily life.
